Cindy Rascke, a graduate of the University of Texas Fine Arts program, has always had a passion for the arts. Beginning her career in fine arts by painting murals for private and commercial customers, Cindy quickly found out that she enjoyed painting objects more. After painting one of the famous Austin Gibson guitars (her guitar is currently on display at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport), Cindy expanded her desire to paint objects and began painting motorcycles, cars, and hotrods in 2003. We took an afternoon to catch up with Cindy while she was painting one of our Art Driven cars to ask her a few questions:

AD: What makes owning an “art car” fun?
CR: Driving an “art car” makes traffic fun as you capture the reactions of others seeing your car.

AD: What makes an “art car” different?
CR: Having an “art car” reflects the driver’s personality. It takes your car to a new level so as not to be another “off the shelf” model.

AD: What makes an “art car” special?
CR: You fall in love with a fine painting, buy it, and go home and hang it on your walls and only you and your friends see it. With an “art car”, you share your fine art with the world!

AD:  What is your vision for your art?
CR:  I wish everyone had an art car!
